Hello and welcome,

Nice that you come to read about who we are.

We are a family of 5 - Ramon, Jolisa, Sylvero, Rosalie, and Eivin are our names.

It all started with Jolisa because she had a dream all her life to start her own company in Norway. But fate had other plans first, and so Norway was pushed back and postponed. Meanwhile, she met Ramon, and after a couple of years, they married and got three beautiful children.

But the unrest continued, and the Netherlands could not offer a happy life.

Ramon offered to go to Norway together and that's how our first trip was planned. During this trip, it became clear that Ramon was also happier in Norway than the Netherlands, and that's how the dream began.

The work started at home, and several trips to Norway followed because all noses in the family must point in the same direction. In the end of 2018, there was the opportunity to rent a farm in 2019, followed by purchase. So we took the chance, packed our stuff, and left the Netherlands behind.

However, we were not in our place there, no room to grow, and also in terms of sunlight (almost 7 months no sun) we were not happy, and a new search began. Many, many, really many farms we have seen, looked at, and visited, but none was what we wanted or felt good with.

In 2021, a great opportunity came to take over a dairy farm in Hellesylt, and we did it! And haven't regretted it for a moment. We live higher than the village, which means that we are in a notorious/famous place in winter. We have snow first, most snow, and last snow. This makes everything a bit more complicated, but the fun is certainly not less!

We hope to see the future even brighter with an extension or new construction of a barn for the cows, welcoming tourists to the farm with fresh milk, cheese, and eggs. And horseback riding in the beautiful mountains. Our farm will become a place where people can connect with nature, learn about sustainable farming practices, and experience the beauty of Hellesylt.

Our vision is to create a thriving agricultural business that not only provides for our family but also contributes to the local community. We aim to produce high-quality dairy products while taking care of the environment and preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings.
